  • What does a C3 Membership provide?
    The Canton Oaks community will be guided and shaped by the members of C3. Together we will shape the future of this community so our loved ones can thrive long after family member support is gone.
  • How does C3 support the IDD Individuals at Canton Oaks?
    The process to move into independent living may be new for both the IDD individual and family. C3 will help guide the transition to independence while developing Canton Oaks community family support.
  • What areas will C3 be working on to support the Canton Oaks IDD residents?
    Some of our focus areas are: community design, research (transportation, technology support etc.), fundraising (Adult Playground, Park, Onsite Outdoor Movie etc.) government networking etc.
  • What is a neuro-inclusive community?
    We all want to feel part of a community and what better than to live in a safe supportive environment where everyone's uniqueness is valued. Canton Oaks is an intentionally designed as an integrated IDD and NT community.
  • How many IDD and NT individuals will be living at Canton Oaks in Canton, Michigan?
    Depending on occupancy of each condo, we are estimating around 60-80 IDD individuals and around 200+NT individuals.
  • Are the Canton Oaks Condos for Purchase or Rent?
    The Condos are purchased "forever homes". If the owner wishes to rent a bedroom or full condo the renter must have a medical IDD diagnosis and be approved by the HOA.
  • What is an IDD Deed?
    IDD Deed restricts the property so that only an individual with an IDD diagnosis can live in the property and can the property can only be sold for another IDD tenant. (Information for reference only, please consult an attorney for legal advice).
  • What is the price of a 2BR IDD Condo?
    2BR price is around $235,000 or higher depending on the interior finishes selected. 3BR and 4BR IDD condos are also options for individuals needing shared hours for overnight care.
  • When will the Condos be available for move-in?
    Three Oaks Communities is currently estimating Phase I move-in around the end of 2027 and Phase II around the end of 2028.
